Evening Reflection: Notice how it feels to distinguish between authentic desires and borrowed ones. Did anything shift into a different column than you expected?

Day 3: The Essence Extraction

Today’s Intent: “I discover the essence beneath my desires.”

Look at your “Absolutely Essential” list. For each item, ask: “What’s the essence of what I really want here?”

For example:

  • “A beach house” might really be about peace and connection with nature
  • “A promotion” might be about recognition and using your full potential
  • “A relationship” might be about deep connection and shared growth

Get to the feeling or experience behind each surface desire. This is where real clarity begins.

Evening Reflection: Write down the 3-5 core essences that emerged. These are the true targets for your intent.

Day 4: The Specificity Session

Today’s Intent: “I transform vague wishes into clear visions.”

Take your top three essences and make them specific. If one essence is “financial freedom,” what does that actually look like? Is it a specific monthly income? The ability to travel? Not worrying about unexpected expenses?

Use sensory details:

  • What will you see when this intent manifests?
  • What will you hear people saying?
  • How will your daily life be different?
  • What will it feel like in your body?

Create a one-paragraph description for each of your top three intentions that paints a vivid picture.

Evening Reflection: Read your descriptions aloud. Do they make you feel excited and slightly nervous? That’s the sweet spot of clear intent.

Day 5: The Alignment Audit

Today’s Intent: “I ensure my intentions support each other.”

Sometimes our desires conflict. You might want a high-powered career and also want to spend every evening with family. Today, examine how your top intentions relate to each other.

Ask:

  • Do these intentions support each other or create conflict?
  • Is there a way to adjust them so they work in harmony?
  • What would pursuing all of these look like in daily life?

You might need to refine your intentions so they create synergy rather than tension.

Evening Reflection: Notice any resistance or relief as you create alignment. Both feelings provide valuable information.

Day 6: The Power Statement

Today’s Intent: “I craft words that activate my deepest knowing.”

Today, distill everything into one powerful intent statement for each of your top three desires. These statements should be:

  • Present tense (“I am” not “I will”)
  • Positive (what you want, not what you don’t want)
  • Personal (about you, not others)
  • Precise (specific enough to recognize when it manifests)

Example: Instead of “I want to be healthier,” try “I am energized and strong, easily climbing stairs and playing actively with my kids.”

Evening Reflection: Say each statement aloud. Adjust the words until they create a full-body “yes” feeling.

Day 7: The Integration Plan

Today’s Intent: “I bridge the gap between clarity and action.”

Clear intent without action is just a beautiful thought. Today, create a simple integration plan:

For each intent statement:

  1. What’s one small action I can take today that aligns with this?
  2. What daily reminder will keep this intent alive?
  3. How will I know when I’m moving toward or away from this intent?

Create a simple tracking system—maybe a note on your mirror, a phone reminder, or a journal prompt.

Weekly Check-ins: Every Sunday, revisit your intent statements. Are they still true? Do they need refinement?

Daily Touchpoints: Each morning, read your intent statements before starting your day. Each evening, acknowledge one way you lived them.

Quarterly Deep Dives: Every three months, repeat a condensed version of this challenge to ensure your intentions evolve with you.
